Mrs. Nagwa Abdelaal Ibrahim

School Director

It is with great pleasure to announce the appointment of Mrs. Nagwa Abdelaal Ibrahim as the School Director at Norwich International College.


Leveraging over 20 years of experience in School management, Mrs. Nagwa will spearhead the induction of the school’s inaugural class of 2023-2024.


Mrs. Nagwa’s stellar career includes stints as a teacher and leader at some of the most prestigious institutions in Cairo and Alexandria, such as Al Alsson School and Al Riada American School, which she helped build from the ground up. She has helped several schools win high accreditation ratings and equipped thousands of students with the knowledge and skills needed to become well-rounded global citizens, with many becoming ivy league graduates and countless other successful professionals.


We are confident that we will realize our goal of fostering lifelong learning under her leadership.

Mr. Anthony Crawford

Norwich International College is delighted to announce the appointment of our School PrincipalMr. Tony Crawford, for the academic year 2023-2024.


American educator Tony Crawford has more than 40 years of experience working as a teacher, administrator, mentor for new teachers, consultant, and educational leader. Mr. Tony continuously encourages colleagues in education to adopt cutting-edge techniques because he is driven by the conviction that "Who dares to teach must never cease to learn." Throughout his professional life, Mr. Tony has worked as a teacher consultant for the National Geographic Society, chaired the National Education Association’s Resolutions Committee, served on the Oregon High School Diploma Requirements Task Force, served on the Oregon Legislature’s School Accountability Task Force, and served on the NEA’s Teacher Professional Standards and Practices Committee.


Mr. Tony has spent the past ten years as an accreditation reviewer for schools throughout the Middle East region. Most recently, Mr. Tony served as the Educational Director of El Alsson International School in Haraniya, Egypt. Additionally, he holds the position of Trustee on the Western Oregon University Foundation Board and Board Director for Innovative Creative Consultants. Not only does he excel in academic field, but Mr. Tony also devotes his free time to training for marathon.

Mr. Harvey Trump


School’s Educational Consultant

Norwich International College is delighted to announce that Mr. Harvey Trump will join our Team as the School's Educational Consultant.


Mr. Harvey worked in the independent sector in the UK since he completed his Liverpool University degree in 1990, which he later followed up with a Master’s degree in Education. Following his first Head Teacher/Principal role in 2012 in the UK, he moved to the MENA region in 2015 to gain international experience.


He spent the last seven years as a leader (Vice Principal, Principal, and Director of Education) in the UAE, Qatar, and Africa (5 years of which have been here in beautiful Egypt). He is also a trainer for the National Professional Qualification for Middle and Senior Leadership with London College University. He has been a Safeguarding and De Bono trainer for several years. Throughout his career, the main aim as an educator, and educational consultant, has been to inspire and engage all stakeholders to develop further and evaluate their academic achievement and progress to ensure excellence comes to the fore.


His experience and work have seen his involvement with IB, the English National curriculum, and the American curriculum, where he has tried to enhance pedagogical approaches to make learning collaborative and one where the application is central for all to show mastery in their knowledge and understanding. 

Mrs. Fatema Alzahraa Shams


School Coordinator

Norwich International College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Fatema Al- Zahraa Shams, as the School Coordinator, at Norwich International College. With a remarkable history in education, Mrs. Fatema is eagerly anticipating the inaugural class of 2023-2024.


She has extensive expertise in education, having worked as a teacher and leader at some of the most prestigious institutions in Cairo and Gulf including Al Rowad International KSA. She has made a significant contribution to education by inspiring countless students to strive to be better citizens and leaders.


Her students are well-educated and well-raised individuals who possess the life skills and aspirations necessary to succeed as model citizens of the world.

Mrs. Whitney Snodgrass


Head of KG Section

Norwich International College is delighted to announce the appointment of Whitney Snodgrass as the Head of KG Section at Norwich International College.


The American early childhood educator Whitney Snodgrass has 14 years of experience working in a variety of institutions while implementing curricula for the American, British, and Canadian systems throughout her career.


It is her goal to foster a safe environment where students can excel through play-based learning enriched by arts, oracy skills, and international culture. Whitney believes that every individual is unique and prides herself on establishing learning environments based off of differentiated learning that supports the needs of all students.
